The ULTIMA 2 provides a variety of solutions for your laboratory. Based on the highest HORIBA Scientific quality optics, the ULTIMA 2 offers the lowest detection limits using single view radial plasma and the best optical resolution. This made the ULTIMA 2 the ideal ICP-OES for any application. A directly viewed simultaneous optical system can be added to upgrade the instrument to an ULTIMA 2C, providing a complete solution with speed and flexibility where a short analysis time must not compromise instrument performance. The simultaneous system provides excellent precision in the determination of major elements while the sequential system offers the highest resolution for difficult elements. The ULTIMA 2 ICP-OES Series also includes the top-of-the-line ULTIMA 2CHR to achieve accurate results in even the most complex materials.

All of the ULTIMA 2 Series can use CLIP (Collection of Line Intensity Profiles). CLIP assists the analyst in the development of methods: no more solutions to prepare and no more profiles to acquire. For each analyte, the profiles of the lines are calculated and displayed according to the instrument configuration: focal length, slit combination, diffraction grating and order used. CLIP also provides an automatic filtering of lines suffering from spectral interferences. Only a few minutes are needed to select lines for every element.
