Leica Microsystems GmbH and A. Menarini Diagnostics S.r.l. have signed a five-year agreement to extend their successful cooperation. According to this agreement, Menarini Diagnostics will continue to be the exclusive distributor in key European countries for Leica Microsystems’ automated immunohistochemistry (IHC) stainer, Leica BondTM as well as Leica Microsystems’ NovocastraTM antibodies and reagents.
The Leica BondTM is the most flexible, fully-automated staining system on the market for immunohistochemistry-based cancer diagnosis. Used in combination with Leica Microsystems’ well-known range of NovocastraTM antibodies, it allows fast, reliable and consistent staining of tissue samples (biopsies) to aid in the diagnosis and staging of cancer.
The distribution agreement between Leica Microsystems and Menarini Diagnostics succeeds a five-year contract between both companies. “We are pleased to be able to continue our successful partnership with Menarini Diagnostics.
