Optimising, Adjusting & Controlling Evaporation MethodsGenevac has announced the availability of the Winter 2010 edition of its informative technical eNewsletter.

Accessible as a pdf download (www.genevac.org/newsletter.htm) the main feature of the new issue focuses upon how to optimise, adjust and control methods on modern centrifugal evaporators. Also in this edition the phenomenon known as "cryopumping" (where a condenser removes vapour from the evaporator chamber to maintain the vacuum level, thereby enabling more vapour to be removed) is discussed.

Focusing purely on technical and applications issues of interest to users of evaporation, concentration and lyophilisation equipment the Genevac eNewsletter is circulated via e-mail 5 times per year.

To register to receive future, and access previous, issues of the Genevac technical eNewsletter, which contain a host of other useful troubleshooting hints and tips, technical innovations and applications advice, please visit the Genevac website**.

Genevac, part of the SP Scientific group, was founded in 1990.  Today the company employs around 85 people, with manufacturing, R&D and marketing headquartered in Ipswich, UK. Genevac today offers a comprehensive portfolio of evaporators to suit almost any solvent removal application, purchasing budget or productivity requirement.
