Pittcon Launches 2011 Smartphone App

"We selected the Oregon-based vendor, CrowdCompass, Inc., to create our app based on their extensive expertise with this technology, as well as their diverse and knowledgeable staff, excellent customer service, enthusiasm, and professionalism," commented Marian Nardozzi, Pittcon's senior marketing and communications specialist. "Our statistics tell us that the number of those attendees using Smartphones has increased 150% over this same time last year, and according to Nielson, Smartphone usage is expected to outnumber regular phones by the end of 2011. Pittcon has always been about bringing the latest innovations and research to our attendees, so it only made sense for us to provide this technology to our audience." The web version of the Pittcon Agenda Builder will continue to be available to those attendees without Smartphones; however, any agenda created in either application will not be accessible outside of the application in which it was created.
