Siemens urinalysis test strips with infra-red identification (ID) bands offer important automatic checks (Auto-Checks) when used on the CLINITEK Status®+, CLINITEK Status® Connect and CLINITEK Status® Analyzers with software version 2.0 or greater. This new technology improves workflow and clinical information for busy clinics and laboratories

With these test strips, the CLINITEK Status analyzers will automatically:

  • Identify the strip type, removing the need to enter the information manually
  • Detect if the test strip has been compromised by humidity over-exposure. If this occurs, patient results are not reported, minimizing false positive results
  • Check for common sample interferences and alert clinicians if any are present, providing notes for results that may be impacted (not available in the U.S.)

Siemens is committed to continuous innovation in urinalysis, providing customers with solutions to enhance quality and efficiency at the point of care.
