Thermo Fisher Scientific Introduces Automatic Dispensing System at ASMS 2010

With an intuitive interface, touch wheel and full-color screen, the eVol Dispensing System unifies two precision devices, a digitally controlled electronic drive and Thermo Scientific XCHANGE analytical syringe, to provide exceptional versatility and functionality. Users of any skill level can easily calibrate the system and accurately and precisely dispense liquids. An integrated XCHANGETM coupling allows syringes to be quickly and easily changed. This is a simple push-up device that contains a magnetic piece which holds the syringe firmly in place. Furthermore, adding MEPS (micro extraction by packed sorbent) to the XCHANGE syringe offers automated sample preparation by SPE in a handheld system. The eVol Dispensing System system is supplied with three syringes in different volumes and a stand.
