Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, has today made the poster presentation ‘How clean are your vials and closures?' downloadable from its website, www.nationalscientific.com/cleanvials. Following the recent launch of the industry's first pre-cleaned chromatography vials - the National Scientific MS certified vials - data demonstrating the effectiveness of pre-cleaning was presented in this poster at HPLC 2010. The MS certified vials and various competitor vials were exposed to acetonitrile for two hours and subsequently analyzed by LC/UV, LC/MS and GC/MS. Resulting data showed no evidence of sample contamination using the National Scientific MS Vials. Cleaned and tested as standard, these unique low-particulate chromatography vials are cleaned in a GMP compliant, fully-validated cleanroom environment to minimize the occurrence of any contamination.
